Polar’s new M460 GPS bike computer is for serious cyclists

The new Polar M460 GPS is an advanced bike computer that offers features for serious cyclists like power meter compatibility, power metrics, smart coaching, and Strava Live Segments that allows cyclists to see their real-time stats to help them reach their performance goals.

The Polar M460 also shows notifications for incoming calls, text messages, calendar alarms and social media updates.

Other features of the M460 include IPX7 water resistance, 16-hour battery life, a front LED light, and compatibility with the Polar H10 heart rate sensor chest strap.

The Polar M460 will be available on April 19th at www.polar.com from $179.90 and includes a two-month Strava Premium membership.

Google’s AutoDraw turns your lame doodles into actual drawings

I love to doodle, but my drawings don’t always turn out looking too realistic. But now I have a tool that can make even my worst squiggles look good. It’s Google AutoDraw and it’s pretty amazing!

Just grab a laptop, desktop, phone or tablet and point the browser to http://autodraw.com where you’ll be greeted with a simple interface that will work with your mouse, finger or stylus.


Draw an object on the screen and you’ll see guesses from Google pop up in real time at the top of the screen. Tap the guess and voila, your doodle just became awesome!



You can move each drawing around on the screen, resize it, fill in with colors, and more.



You can even add text.

When you’re finished, you can download or share to Twitter, Facebook, and Google+.

The fact that this multi-tool offers so many tools is nice, but I’m not convinced that the tools would be comfortable to use because the “handle” is wide and flat. If you have to use any real torque, I think the edges would dig into the palm of your hand. I’m just speculating though.

Nikon announces new Nikon D7500 DX-Format DSLR

Nikon, who is celebrating 100 years in business this year, have just announced a new advanced level DSLR. The D7500 features a 20.9-megapixel image sensor, EXPEED 5 processor, tilting 3.2” 922K-dot touch screen LCD, 4K UHD video capture, wide ISO range from 100-51,200, 51 point autofocus system, built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi technology for auto image transfer and remote shooting, and more.

Smartphone photography is great for selfies and food snaps, but for the photography enthusiasts, a DSLR is a must have.
