The Cleo Drone makes flying indoors easy!


NEWS – While there are thousands of gadgets that offer something exciting for every gadget nerd, there are also those gadgets that get added to our wishlist that represent the dream of “if I could I would”. I love drones, and since NYC is a very restrictive city in terms of where you can fly drones, I would love one that I could easily use indoors without any major risk of crashing because the propellers hit something. Also, the noise of the propellers makes it a bit inconvenient.

During one of my recent web surfing experiences, I came across the Cleo Drone. This drone is “the first mobile platform designed specifically for data collection in hard to access and potentially dangerous spaces”. It is the size of the average palm and is made of a carbon-fiber body. It boasts a flight time of up to 20 minutes and can operate in areas where GPS capabilities are unavailable. While I am sure this drone was developed for much more than I would use it for, it looks really cool and I know that I would find my own uses for it.

If you want to add it to your dreamy wishlist or if you really want to purchase one, you can head over to the Cleo Robotics website and pick one up. A $1000 deposit is required when ordering, with a balance of $8,800 due at shipment. And yes!! That is the real price and not a typo.

Monday is National Dog Day so take your dog for a walk and count your steps with a free Huawei Band 3e fitness tracker!

CONTEST NEWS – Next Monday (August 26th) is National Dog Day, which is a day to honor every breed of dog and to be aware of how many dogs need to be rescued.

To celebrate this day, Huawei encourages dog owners to get active and take their four-legged friends on a walk and while you’re walking, you can track your activity with a Huawei Band 3e fitness tracker. This wrist or shoe worn fitness tracker is a watch that also collects fitness data like steps, distance, calories burned, and sleep details using the Huawei Health App.


If you opt to wear the tracker on your shoe using the included clip while you’re on a walk/run with your dog, it will also record step length, landing impact, total time, and more. The Band 3e pairs with your phone and buzzes when you receive a notification or if you’ve been sitting too long and need to get up and move.

NEWS – As a self-confessed gadget nerd, I always feel that after so many years of seeking out the newest and coolest gadgets, that I have seen just about every concept that I can expect to see for a while. And just when I think I have, another creative gadget surfaces and captures my attention all over again.

The latest to do so the Bare Conductive – Electric Paint Lamp Kit. This DIY electronics lamp making kit allows you to convert paper templates into lamps using electric paint. It boasts three lamp possibilities that are the Touch, Dimmer, and Proximity lamps that all show off different aspects of Electric Paint. At the very least, this certainly looks like a cool gadget type thing to try.
