Add storage to your water bottle with PACELid

Fortune may favor the prepared, but sometimes survival depends on it. PACELid grew out of this philosophy when creator Chris Way, a backpacking, mountaineering and all-around adventure expert, thought about how he could customize his gear to make it more useful. He realized that one of his pieces of kit—his Nalgene bottle—was with him at all times, so the idea of attaching items to it gave way to creating a lid that could store items, and PACELid was born. “PACE” is an acronym for Primary, Alternate, Contingency, Emergency and it represents a communication methodology that originated in the military, so this seemed an apt name for this product. PACELid replaces the lid of your wide-mouth Nalgene, Klean Kanteen, or Hydroflask bottle and its own screw-down lid provides secure storage space for small items. Made from tough, injection-molded plastic, PACELid is available in Black, Red, Green or Blue colors for $19.99 each. Visit pacelid.com for more info or to order.

Memobottle is a slim way to stay hydrated

I’ve been trying to get better about staying hydrated throughout the day. In addition to the fitness and health benefits, I just feel better when I’m hydrated. To that end, I’ve been on the lookout for unique containers to carry water, and I stumbled on Memobottle. Its unique shape is what caught my eye. Memobottle has a rectangular footprint with a relatively flat aspect ratio, about the size of a medium-sized textbook. What I like about this is that it is slim and can slide right in with your notebooks, laptop, and other ECD items into your backpack, purse or gear bag and its aspect ratio means that it won’t be bulky like most water bottles, which are cylindrical. It’s also made from reusable, washable, BPA-free plastic. Available in two sizes, the more petite 375mL A6 ($28) and the larger 750mL A5 ($36). Visit memobottle.com for more info and Amazon to order.

It looks like a canteen but it’s a goblet too

Sometimes you need a bottle and sometimes you need a cup. Why own one of each when the Pint from Stable Goods Company will do the work of both vessels?

The Pint is an insulated double walled bottle made of food grade stainless steel on the inside and a granite like coating on the outside.

The cap is BPA free and opens so you can use the Pint like an ordinary bottle.

But when you’d rather drink your favorite beverage from a cup, the base can be removed, flipped over and attached to the cap to create a pedestal. Nifty! The Pint is priced at $32. Find out more at stablegoods.co and Amazon.

The Right Cup will help you kick your soda habit and drink more water

I used to be addicted to Diet Coke and would drink a 12 oz bottle (or more) every day for years. I had a hard time kicking the habit and wish I would have had The Right Cup to help me. The Right Cup is a BPA free plastic cup that tricks your brain into thinking that you are drinking something sweet when all you’re really drinking is plain zero calorie, caffeine-free water.

When you drink from the 11-ounce cup, you breathe in the fruity aroma and even taste a slight flavor on the rim of the cup. How does it work?

use proprietary technology that enables FDA approved aromatic food grade flavors and ingredients to be added directly to the cup’s components at the time of manufacturing. During the process, the aroma and flavor become integral parts of the cup itself without having to change the plastic characteristics in any way. The Right Cup™ is made of BPA free plastic and is 100% safe!

The Right Cup is available in orange, berry, apple, grape, peach, and cola. The flavor is supposed to last for several months as long as you don’t use a dishwasher and only hand wash the cups.

You can read more about The Right Cup at www.therightcup.com and you can buy one cup for $29.95 from Amazon.
