Mount a GoPro on a Hot Wheel and record your epic tracks

NEWS – Did you have Hot Wheels cars as a kid? I had a few of the cars, but I wasn’t lucky enough to have any of the track sets that would let me create my own race track setups. But after seeing the Hot Wheel Zoom In, I have a strong urge to order some cars and track. The Zoom In is a specially designed Hot Wheel base that holds a GoPro HERO or HERO5 camera so you can capture first-person video of what it would be like to actually drive on your race tracks. Even better, it’s only $6.99 from Amazon.

The Bald Eagle Smart G Skull Shaver may give you that smooth and silky shave that you have been looking for

NEWS – Many years ago, due to a hair and skin condition, I was forced to go bald. Over the years, I have gone through countless shavers both manual and electronic in an effort to find the most cost-effective solution that would give me the closest shave in the fastest time. After many years of trying the bulky electronic shavers that all boasted to give the closest shave but just could not live up to their claims, I settled on the Gillette Mach series. I have gone through all of the Gillette upgrades, and I currently use the Gillette Fusion 5 razor that gives me a clean and smooth shave. While I do like my current shaver, shaving takes a bit of time, and occasionally I do experience some bloody accidental cuts.

I recently saw a YouTube video that advertised the Skull Shaver. This little battery powered shaver has 4 spinning blades and provides a nice way to grip it to manage the contours of your head. As I watched more videos on it, some people had more positive results than others. I am guessing that the success would be measured depending on the individual experience that may be based on the characteristics of your hair and head.

If you would like to try the Skull Shaver, it is available in various models, with the latest being the Bald Eagle Smart G, that you can purchase on Amazon for $96.99.

Serve food at the correct temperature with these insulated bowls

NEWS – Few things are more disappointing than working hard to prepare a delicious meal but finding the cooked veggies are cold and the salad is hot by the time everyone gets to the table.  (Yes, I know – first-world problems…)  These insulated bowls with lids from Oggi will keep your food at the right temperature throughout your meal.

The bowls are made of 100% stainless steel.  Polyurethane insulation is sandwiched between the two layers of steel to keep foods at the right serving temperature.  The double-wall construction also prevents condensation or heat transfer to your table top.  Prepare the bowls to maintain the proper temperature by filling them with hot water or by placing them in the freezer or filling with ice water before filling them with food.

Oggi offers these bowls in a 1-quart ($19.95), 2-quart ($29.95), or 3-quart ($39.95) size.  They are available for purchase at The Grommet.
