Get ready for spring with the FlipFork BOSS – the only grilling tool you’ll ever need

NEWS – Let me ask you a question. How many bbq tools do you have in your grilling arsenal? Think about it I’ll wait… If you’re like me, your answer was probably too many.

What if you only needed one?

The FlipFork BOSS is a 5-in-1 grilling tool. The BOSS takes five essential grilling utensils and puts them in one heavy-duty multitasking tool.

The sturdy stainless steel design has an extra long Acacia wood handle that’s both moisture resistant and antibacterial. It also sports a wide spatula (for flipping and holding burgers), a fork (for picking up and moving steak, d handle.sausage, or chicken), knife edge (for cutting meat or veggies), and serrated edge (for tenderizing meat).

Most importantly, there’s a bottle opener for popping the top on your favorite adult beverage.

No more clutter from multiple utensils or trips in and out of the house. And cleanup is a breeze because the BOSS is dishwasher safe.

Finally, you can focus on what’s important – GRILLING! The FlipFork BOSS sells for $26.99 and is available from Amazon.

It’s a dessert topping! It’s a floor wax! Gourmia introduces air fryer toaster ovens

NEWS – Unlike the old comedy sales pitch on Saturday Night Live, Gourmia’s combinations make sense.  Fresh off their announcement of new CoolCookers that combine refrigeration with slow or pressure cooking, Gourmia has announced a complete line of combination air fryer toaster ovens.

Catering to the ever-growing market of those of us with limited counter and cabinet space, Gourmia is creatively combining appliances so one item does the job of two or more.  In this case, you get a full-featured toaster oven, technically, already a combo, combined with a capable air fryer.

The air fryer function leverages Gourmia’s AeroCrisp technology for up to 80% less fat in your meals.  The toaster oven can cook with temps up to 400 or 450 degrees, depending on the model. It has multiple rack positions and can toast up to six slices of bread at a time.

The eight new models units are sized from an 18 to 27 quart capacity, 1500 to 1800 watts of cooking power and between 6 and 22 different cooking modes.

Gourmia is ETL certified, meaning that their products have all undergone rigorous safety testing and meet Underwriters Laboratory (UL) standards for safety.

All eight new models will be available later in 2019 at major retailers. Pricing varies between $49 and $199. For more information go to www.gourmia.com.

KRMA Titanium Pen – Notable crowdfunding campaign

CROWDFUNDING NEWS – Minimalism is in.  Titanium as a material is in.  And pens are useful and can also be cool.  Combine all of those things together and you might end up with the KRMA Titanium Pen.

What is it?

The KRMA Titanium Pen is a sleek writing instrument that is machined from Titanium with a twist action mechanism.

Why do I like it?

I’ve gotten into pens quite a bit lately, and I appreciate a design that is sleek and minimalist but made from durable materials that can last a long time.  The KRMA Titanium Pen caught my eye for all of these reasons.  Externally, it is virtually devoid of features save its beefy pocket clip.  Inside, it uses a twist mechanism to deploy its Fisher Space Pen ink cartridge.  It is available in standard Silver, Black, Gold, Blue, Green and Pink anodized colors and with each of these you can choose between machined or bead blasted finish.  The KRMA Titanium Pen also includes a Refill Extender Kit in Small, Medium and Large sizes to accommodate other ink refills.

Where can I find more info?

The KRMA Titanium Pen campaign ends on March 15, 2019. To date, over 200 backers have already pledged nearly $12,000 toward the $7,777 funding goal. Pledge packages start at $45 for a single pen and increase from there depending on the options and add-ons selected.  After the end of the campaign period, rewards are expected to start shipping in May 2019. Visit the KRMA Titanium Pen campaign site for more information or to become a backer.
