Parrot’s Mambo drone can shoot and grab objects

Drones have become a little boring in the last year or two because they are all pretty much the same. Parrot is changing all of that with their Mambo drone that comes with cannon and grabber attachments that take drone flying fun to the next level.

The Parrot Mambo Drone can pair with your smartphone which will be used as a controller, or you can buy the optional advanced flight controller for even easier flight control.

The drone features a built-in camera that can take snapshots but unfortunately, it doesn’t record video.

You can fly the Parrot Mambo with or without one of the attachments like the cannon, the grabber or the hulls. The cannon mounts on top of the drone and can hold up to 6 balls that shoot from the cannon when you activate that feature through the smartphone or advanced flight controller. The grabber arm can be attached to grab and drop small objects and the hulls are snap on cages that protect each of the four propellers.

The Parrot Mambo is priced has an MSRP of $119.99. For more info on the Parrot Mambo, head over to parrot.com or Amazon to buy one for less than $100.

Jabees beatBOX MINI TWS Bluetooth speakers look like a great add-on for the Amazon Echo Dot

The Amazon Echo Dot has an internal speaker that can be used to listen to your favorite music, but the Echo Dot’s built-in speaker isn’t powerful enough to fill a large room with music. Connecting a pair of Jabee’s beatBOX MINI TWS speakers can help fill the room with stereo sound. That’s right, the Jabee’s speakers use V4.1 Bluetooth TWS Technology to create left and right channels that deliver true in sync stereo sound wirelessly.

Use the beatBOX MINIs with your smartphone, your tablet, and your computer via Bluetooth.

Or do a hard connection through the auxiliary input jack and a 3.5mm audio cable which is included.

You don’t need to stay indoors either, the Jabees beatBOX MINI TWS Bluetooth speakers have an IPX4 waterproof rating so you can take them outside because they aren’t afraid of splashes or a little rain.

The Jabees beatBOX MINI TWS Bluetooth speakers are priced at $59.99 and you can read more about them at jabees.com.

Moleskine’s new ID Collection includes bags for your EDC items

If you’re a Gadgeteer, you most likely have some favorite EDC (Every Day Carry) items that you carry with you on a regular basis. That either means you have huge pockets, or you use a gear bag like I do. Trying to find the holy grail of gear bags is a quest that a lot of us never complete. Or maybe it’s a quest that we don’t want to complete because cool bags are as enticing as new gadgets.

To make your gear bag quest easier or even harder, Moleskine has announced the new ID Collection of bags like the ID Backpack shown above.

The ID Backpack is available in two sizes that can hold either a 13″ or 15″ laptop along with accessories and additional gear.

The bags are made of water-resistant nylon and coated canvas, and feature magnetic closures instead of velcro.

If backpacks aren’t your style of gear bag, Moleskine’s new collection also includes messenger bags, briefcase-style bags, tote bags and more.

The bags are available in a few different colors and each include pen and pencil slots as well as space to carry a Moleskine journal.

Prices range from $79 up to $!69 depending on the style and size. You can read more about Moleskine’s ID Collection at moleskine.com.

Unitensil is an all in one fork, knife and spoon that folds flat and weighs less than a nickle

Buying take-out food is convenient until you don’t have utensils to eat it. The reusable Unitensil from FolditFlat is minimalist’s version of a Spork, but this one has amazing origami skills that let you fold it flat for easy storage and EDC (every day carry).

Unitensil is made of a very lightweight and flexible no.5 recyclable BPA and phthalate free plastic.

It folds flat and stores in an included pouch.

When you’re ready to eat, you take it out of the pouch, unfold it and press the center snaps together.

The Unitensil (how the heck do you even say that?) resembles a bowtie with a fork on one end and a spoon on the other. Where’s the knife? It’s the serrated edge on the outside of the fork.

I’m not sure how robust this eating utensil is considering the material it’s made of. It might have no problems cutting soft food but I bet it’s no match for a piece of meat. That said, it does look like a hand EDC emergency tool for those times when you find yourself in front of some yummy food with no easy way to eat it. They’ve offered to send me a sample. So I can do a full review.

Unitensils from FolditFlat come in a variety of colors and are priced at $21 for a package of 6 which includes shipping. You can find out more and order by visiting folditflat.com.
