Spindry is the toilet brush you never knew you needed until now

Do you spend much thinking about your toilet brush? Yeah, me neither. But every time I clean the toilet, I get the heebie jeebies about dripping dirty toilet water on the floor when I transfer the brush back into its disgusting holder. There has to be a better solution, right?

The Spindry toilet brush from Dreamfarm looks like an ordinary long handled toilet brush with a bristle head and a holder that has a weighted base so it won’t tip over when you remove the brush.

How it differs from traditional brushes is its handle, which spins when you squeeze it. The spinning action flicks away any liquid back into the toilet bowl instead of on your bathroom floor.

The Spindry brush comes in blue and is priced at $24.95 from dreamfarm.com

HUAWEI MediaPad tablets are now available in the US

Yesterday, Huawei announced availability and pricing for four of their Android MediaPad tablets for here in the US.

If you’ve wanted to purchase a quality Android tablet but haven’t wanted to pay Samsung prices, you should check into the MediaPad tablets. I haven’t personally tried one of these MediaPad tablets, but if they are the same quality as the Nexus 6P which I used for over a year, then I’d have no problem recommending one.

Huawei has four MediaPad models. Two 8-inch tablets, and two 10-inch tablets:

HUAWEI MediaPad T3 8-inch – Qualcomm MSM8917, quad-core A53, 4 x 1.4 GHz coprocessor; 16GB ROM + 2GB RAM; Android N (Nougat) + EMUI 5.1
Available Color: Space Gray
Available for purchase on Amazon.com and Newegg.com for $139

HUAWEI MediaPad T3 10-inch – Qualcomm MSM8917, quad-core A53 coprocessor; 16GB ROM + 2GB RAM; Android N (Nougat) + EMUI 5.1
Available Color: Space Gray
Available for purchase on Amazon.com and Newegg.com for $159

HUAWEI MediaPad M3 Lite 8-inch – Quad-A53 1.4GHz+Quad-A53 1.1GHz coprocessor; 16GB ROM + 3GB RAM; Android N (Nougat) + EMUI 5.1

Get paid for your old gadgets with Amazon Trade-In

Did you know that Amazon will “buy” your old phones and other gadgets and pay you back in Amazon gift cards? I haven’t used their trade-in program, but a quick read of the details makes it sound pretty inviting.

Here’s how it works… You go to the Amazon Trade-in page, scroll through the list of items that you’ve already bought from them to see how much you can earn for each item. If you don’t see an item on the list that you’d like to sell, just do a search to see if they’ll buy it.

Hmmm, I’m no longer using this router… maybe it’s time to trade it in!

Amazon will send you a paid shipping label, you box up the item, ship it to them for free, wait for them to appraise it and then within 10 days, you get an Amazon gift card that you can use on anything that Amazon sells. If you change your mind after they tell you how much they will pay or if there’s a problem with the item, they will ship it back for free.

It might be a great way to unload your old phone in anticipation of buying the new Samsung Galaxy Note 8 or iPhone 8.

Amazon Trade-In offers competitive trade-in values* for the hottest devices, including:
Apple iPhone 7, Silver, 32 GB (Unlocked) up to $305
Apple iPhone 7, Black, 128 GB (Unlocked) up to $335
Apple iPhone 7 Plus, Silver, 32 GB (Unlocked) up to $335
Apple iPhone 7 Plus, Black, 128 GB (Unlocked) up to $370
Apple iPhone 6s, Silver, 32 GB (Unlocked) up to $205
Apple iPhone 6s Plus, Space Gray, 32 GB (Unlocked) up to $240
Samsung Galaxy S7, Black, 32 GB (Unlocked) up to $150
Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, Black, 32 GB (Unlocked) up to $170

* Trade-in values are subject to change and vary based on model, carrier, and condition.

The Amazon Trade-in service is an easy way to get rid of stuff that you’re no longer using. There’s really no down side other than finding a box to pack the items in. Check out the details by visiting the Amazon Trade-in page.

Wally is a whimsical bookworm bookmark for your analog books

I haven’t read a book in non-digital form for… well, I can’t even remember the last “book” I read. I prefer to read on my phone or a tablet, but one thing that I miss from reading physical books are bookmarks.

Every time Anime Causa comes out with a new bookmark, I smile, and this latest one smiles right back at you. It’s the Wally – Clip Bookmark and it really is a bookworm.

Wally is made of plastic and comes in green, blue, and red. It clips over the corner of a page in the book to mark the spot in a whimsical way.

Kids will love Wally and he might even make them ask for story time more often.

Visit Anime Causa for more info and to order one for $9.99.
