That’s not a moon! That’s a Christmas tree topper!

NEWS – I’m not sure how the Death Star equates to the joyous Christmas season, but who am I to question it?  If Star Wars makes all your occasions happier, then you need a Death Star Tree Topper from Hallmark.  This topper measures 6.3″ x 6.3″ x 6.3″ and weighs 14.25 ounces.  It comes with a remote control that  illuminates the Death Star and has it play the Star Wars: Main Title and The Imperial March.

The Evergreen Elf monitors your Christmas tree to keep your family safe

NEWS – Forget the Elf on the Shelf; that little tattletale only makes your kids anxious.  The Evergreen Elf is useful; he will keep your family safe by preventing your real Christmas tree from drying out and becoming a fire hazard.

The Evergreen Elf will fit on any live-tree stand on the market now.  He has a probe on his back that fits into the water reservoir of the stand; it’s adjustable so you can push the probe down to the bottom of the reservoir.  The battery-powered Elf continually monitors the water level and alerts you when it’s time to add water.  You won’t have to crawl under the tree to check the water levels by sticking your hand in the reservoir any longer.  The Elf can also alert you when his batteries get low.  The monitoring method is optimized, though, so a set of batteries should get you through the Christmas decorating season.

Do some good while decorating your Christmas tree

NEWS – In addition to buying gifts for friends and family members, Christmas is also a time to do a little good for others.  Buying the St. Jude’s Hospital Carson Light-Up Light Bulb Ornament is a way to get a gift for someone or an ornament for your own tree while doing good.  While supplies last, Rejuvenation will donate 30% of the purchase price to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, “which is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.”

The ornament is a snow globe in a standard light bulb.  It is a snowy scene with trees and a lamp post that looks like the Carson light produced by the Rejuvenation company.  The lamp post actually lights up by flipping a small switch on the ornament.  It is made of glass, tin metal, sisal, cardboard, and it is 3.25″ wide x 5.5″ tall.
