Protect your Apple Watch from drops with this Catalyst

This Impact Protection Case from Catalyst protects your Apple Watch with an “innovative truss cushioning system combined with a proprietary rubber polymer blend to increase the drop specification to 9.9ft/3m (only for corners drops).  This drop protection meets Military standard 810G.

The case covers the Watch’s case and incorporates Catalyst’s patented digital crown button to protect the button, unlike many other Watch cases I’ve seen.  There’s even a cover for the side button and a bezel to protect the screen.  The case doesn’t interfere with any functions of the Watch, including charging.

The Impact Protection Case is available for the 38mm Series 2 and 3 Watch and the 42mm Series 2 and 3 Watch in black/space gray, blueridge/sunset, army green, or coral for $39.99 at the Catalyst website.

This Apple Watch charger serves as a charging station for your nightstand

Many Apple Watch charging stands I’ve seen are about this size, and they only charge the Watch itself.  This Simpeak 4-Port USB Charger Station not only charges the Watch in Nightstand mode, but the base has three extra USB ports for charging phones and tablets.  You’ll need only the included power supply to charge up to four devices simultaneously from a single wall outlet.

Specifications

  • Input: 100V-240V 50/60Hz
  • Output: 5V 6A (Max).  With built-in smart chips, each port can automatically detect your device and delivers the fastest charge required (up to 2.4 amps).
  • Material: ABS Plastic
  • Dimension: 3.54 x 3.54 x 2.75 inches

The hollow base can store the excess cable for the Watch charger, plus it has room for other small items.  You’ll need to supply your own charging cables.

The Simpeak 4-Port USB Charger Station is $19.98 in white or black from Amazon.

Add some pizazz to your Apple Watch with this protective cover

Most protective Apple Watch covers I’ve seen are crystal-clear, very simple little snap-over covers to protect your Watch from bumps and scratches.  The GHIJKL case for Apple Watch series 2 and 3 is a clear TPU cover that fits over the metal sides of the Watch.  It’s made of TPU, so it protects against bumps, just like you’d expect, but it adds a decorative element.  It’s a bumper-style case, so it doesn’t cover the crystal itself.

The protective case is etched to make it look like the face is surrounded by cut crystals.  The side button has these “diamond” designs, too.  All buttons are usable through the cover, and you can charge the Watch without removing the protective case.

The GHIJKL protective case is designed for the 38mm Apple Watch.  It’s $7.99 at Amazon.

This band will keep your Apple Watch on the dot

If you like your accessories to be unique, you probably don’t like to choose your Apple Watch bands from the standard offerings from Apple.  This metal watch band is very attractive, and it’s not something you’re likely to see three other people wearing at the office.  The band looks like a series of metal dots strung together, very unlike other metal link bands I’ve seen.

The YJYdada stainless Apple Watch band is described as being for the Apple Watch Series 3, but I’m not aware of any reason that it couldn’t work for all series.  It is, however, sized for the 42mm Watch, and it fits wrists 5.3″ – 9.25″.   It’s available in black, rose gold, silver, and gold.  At only $12.76, you could get all four and have a complete wardrobe to match all your clothing.

The YJYdada Stainless Steel Smart Watch Band is available at Amazon.

Replace your Apple Watch band with the beauty of wood and titanium

If you’re tired of having a band like everyone else, replace your current Apple Watch band with a beautiful wood and titanium band from Jord. Each band has black metal Apple band adapters, links, and buckle mechanism, and they fit either the 38mm or the 42mm Apple Watch.

Bands are available in your choice of ebony, stacked zebrawood and dark sandalwood, stacked walnut and olive wood, or koa wood.  Jord doesn’t specify the length of their Watch bands, but each purchase comes with a couple extra links to extend the band.  They also send a screwdriver for adding/removing links to adjust the band length and to install the correct band adapter.  Jord also sells additional links if you need more for a correct fit.

The Jord Wood Apple Watch Band is $85 for your choice of wood.  Order your new Watch band at Jord.
